There, in an inherent danger in telling a story about angels, devils, God and Lucifer that it’s very easy to lose a significant portion of the audience. This is the first indicator of a fantastic film benefits greatly from its adult themes and dark, gritty issue. Conan the Barbarian Schwarzenegger has become a major star overnight, and will soon be terribly comedic Conan the Destroyer Continuation (featuring quite amazing creature in Giannetto De Rossi and Carlo Rambaldi), and to some extent Red Sonja and Kulla Conqueror. Our hero is Cameron Poe (Nicolas Cage), the ex-Army Ranger and Desert Storm veteran, who spent the last eight years in prison serving a sentence for murder (he accidentally killed a man who threatened his pregnant wife). Now he has been paroled and is on his way home to be reunited with his wife and meet his daughter for the first time. He is too pure to be anything but bland, and, even worse, Scott Rosenberg script does not give him any of the one line that we have come to expect from the action heroes in such films.
