Christmas Vacation

Entry # 3 in the King Holiday is the latest series of amusing contribution of the four films (plus a made-for-TV movie, which starred none of the original cast members).

This timeout in the Griswolds not on the road trip - they spend a large family home for Christmas, filled with old grandparents, and, of course, Cousin Eddie (Randy Quaid) and his white-trash juveniles. Typically, the holiday comes from the failure of fire that will not go on a Christmas tree that is too high, but it is cruel darkness of life that we see in allVacation film, which makes the movie memorable. In times a week, Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) will see his family belong to each other, to be attacted crazed protein, and find its owner Eddie kidnapped after he receives a monthly club jelly instead of the actual subscription bonus.

In most ways, Christmas days following the original fairly closely Relax, only without the change of scenery. There’s even a buxom women fatale (a la Christie Brinkley), which inspires Chase in the famous “nipply” soliloquy during a visit to the mall.

While Christmas Vacation, undeniably derivative, it was not without its charm. Beverly D’Angelo and Chase work their magic for the third time, how blissfully unaware slash-and-forget-pair, while Juliette Lewis and Johnny Galecki do solid work, as children (revision of these parts again). Even Randy Quaid proves he can give him one little note yokel nature of life.

The end result is that, although it still has an infinite number of dark and depressing moments, Christmas vacation is probably the most family film in the series, match his Christmastime setting. As we know now, one Griswold always triumphed over adversity. This contribution in the film is one of the more satisfying victories Clark.
