Christmas in South Park

Christmas in South Park is the latest collection of episodes released on DVD and offers some very good examples of why the audience so divided about the show. Few would deny that there is something offensive about Adolf Hitler singing “O, Tannenbaum” (which happens in the episode entitled “Mr. Hankey’s Christmas Classics”), but this is ridiculous? Many fans (and I am one) will provide an unambiguous answer to that question, but it is only fitting to ask what will happen when people are less intelligent than Trey Parker and Matt Stone (creative forces behind South Park) think that they too can take this kind of humor.

At Christmas in South Park DVD features two shows best and funniest episodes (the aforementioned Christmas episode and “Chinpoko Mon), the other that it is mildly amusing (” Merry Christmas, Charlie Manson), and 50 - minute documentary for Channel 4 in England called “Goin ‘Down to South Park.” While some may argue that Comedy Central is milking DVD buyers, including only a little three or four episodes on the CD, a few diehard fans will want to be without this particular collection.

Deck Halls, It’s Mr. Hankey
As a full length movie South Park showed Parker and Stone are at their best when composing catchy melodies and hysterically funny. In “Christmas Classics” are no exception. From the opening number scatological equipped bad piece of excrement Mr. Garrison visiting various non-Christian countries singing “F ** king Merry Christmas” in the songs you will be shaking with laughter, as you toss your head in disbelief and shock.

In Charlie Manson “episode is a standard proposal, but look at a picture of Happy Cartman in the extended family and satirizes in the gullibility of children who are on the line to their photos with Santa.

“Chinpoko Mon” is a perfect example of why the show is too smart to be dismissed. Extremely witty parody of children’s fads in general and Pokemon passion Specifically, the features of our fearsome foursome addicted to a group of toys that Japanese manufacturers plan to adopt the world. There, in one snippet of dialogue between parents after they Stan Chinpoko Mon-view show. The father said he was not sure if they should ban their son from observation, as the program is neither vulgar nor violence. The mother replies: “No, but this is silly.” This represents the view of South Park, in two words - TV shows, movies or music groups, not through a terrible time offensive, profane, funny, sexy or violence, just being foolish or boring. Not a bad argument, although, of course, one person is another silly comic genius (eg Adam Sandler).
