The Cave

Unfortunately the decline of drive-in movie theater, if there was ever any current movie, which might play better in the car, through experience, that Bruce Hunt in The Cave.

Why? To begin with, in a cave, outdated Romanian grotto that the functions of all types of resources like crazy rivers, waterfalls, caves, ice, archaeological samples, sills, and much, much more-as much, in fact, that it simply loses track of all this. Here are some caves. But the drive-in a draw that cavernous ecosystems (or she) is also filled with monsters, demons of the kind that the metal-head of the school boys, usually drawing. The huge rodents, gargoyles that fly, and other creatures that can swim, fly, and the deficit ceiling, they can make all the baddies.

But what about the story? A scientist (played by Marcel Lures) employs a team of spelunkers investigate this odd holes, so they can survive…. There is actually no arc testament awaits them in the cave, although there is some history of suspicious church built over a portal, but it will be problematic later. The group, led by authoritarian Jack (Cole Hauser) and his brother Tyler (Eddie Cibrian), in the near future (not surprisingly) to become trapped in this dungeon stalactite, and in the course of their research, some suffering disease, which can occur only in film (or cave in Romania? I have never been in one, so I am not an expert). Bumping in the wrong kind of monster, Jack infected parasite, which gives him paranormal, paranoid, prehistoric powers. But it is not important. The remaining crew members is a wish to hang there, and so we see what can be expected to be only idiotic people (including Morris Chestnut often large) find themselves in deeper water. Or cave water. Or what it is.

Now, all this sounds a bit more-on-top, and in many ways it is. But at the time B-movie panache, The Cave can be fun. Despite the fact that the character development is almost non-existent, there is a certain pleasure to underwater photography and impressive production design, which show that at least some thought put into this film (but then, come to think of it, maybe all put too much thought into this film). Unfortunately, the measure contains a confusing manner. Simply put, we do not see that happening, which could be in it. Messy, derivative and silly The Cave, at least, oddly likable. We just still trying to understand why.
