The Butterfly Effect 2
Originally In Butterfly Effect was the brainchild of writer-directors Eric Bress and J. Mackye Gruber, who previously wrote a series of gimmicky continued even in the Final destination 2. There, more than that connection to link these two different series, as a function of consequences that are only indirectly linked to other, mostly remakes more than the continuation of the previous stories. The problem with the film is at Butterfly Effect 2 is that, unlike in the mountains, with a sense of humor Final destination series, it really does not have a lot of joy in the plot himself after his first understanding. As we all know where they are going, we have little interest in the artificial plot, and without humor or titillation, it is nothing more than a mechanical, sad regurgitation, with the exception of non-name stars and less production values.
This episode is totally unrelated to the first film, which features Eric Lively (Say Pact) portraying Nick, a 20 - that people on the brink of personal and professional bum. This is his girlfriend Julie ’s (Durance, “Smallville”), age, as well as special as he wants her day will be, it must, unfortunately, the head back to work, because it is the struggle for a big promotion, and do not want to work handed someone seen as more loyal to the company. Tragedy strikes when he loses control of the car, resulting in a large tower for his smash in his SUV, killing Julia to leave, his potential promotion, and his happiness. A year passes, and he remains no more than an event, but he began to feel strange effect on the photo, he looks to finally end in itself regressing back to the moments depicted in the photo, this time with the opportunity to change their future. But when he returns to the present, Nick is not always the case that it is.
Given that I did not like the first film, it should not come as a surprise that I am also not a lot of love for this very redundant Continuation. At a short summary is that it is essentially the same movie with different characters and situations, but instead of a diary, time-travel is done with the help of photographs. Even if you like the first film, I can not understand what would appeal to you on seeing it done again, as a scenario Michael Weiss (Crocodile, Octopus) gives no new twists on the formula, and not all try to explain how such a strange phenomenon indeed may happen, and why.
Since I can not recommend the movie for people who liked Butterfly In effect, the only audience there, I could see really find it intriguing will be those who have never seen the original, but interesting finding accommodation. About the kindest that I can say about this again is that it is not in its dark tone, and that should be easier to take for those squeamish about sadistically horrendous scenes of child abuse. I should point out that, even if I have never seen the original, it is highly doubtful that it will be really pleased me as a separate entrance to give it a higher rating than I am here.
I think there is irony in knowing that the continued / is the antithesis of last main premise of the film. In the fictional story, we go back to endure the same event, but takes a different direction in reality an extension, the makers of W Butterfly Effect 2 decided to go through various events and choose in the same direction. Regardless of the differences, both fiction and reality comes with the same conclusion: - going back and reliving past events do not always produce better results in the present.
