Of course, the film itself is not a good film. “The Bodyguard” is, in fact, very bad movie. But I like it, sort of odd way. On one of those likable, but stupid movies that make the time fly down on Friday night - unless, of course, you have something better than to spend time trying to view the Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston to work to try to love him.

The film stars Kevin Costner as Frank Farmer, a bodyguard, who blames himself for the events of the past that have come back to haunt him. Whitney Houston plays mostly Whitney Houston (despite the fact that the character’s name in different film), a famous singer, like herself, who falls in love with her new bodyguard aquired and spark an interracial romance that threatens her career almost the same as it receives death threats in the mail.

Frank mission is to protect it at all costs from the assassinator who is not a metallic cyborg, and which do not bear uncanny resemblance to Arnold Schwarzenegger (although it would have helped to market the movie). At surprise at the end is that the killer is not who we think it is - so I do not think that at all! Just watch. I hope I did not break any part of the movie for you. But not tempt me - I have to pay rabid fan identity to you.

“The Bodyguard” is a big, mushy mess, filled with bad acting and bad scenario. The entire film a disservice. This is too long for its own good - especially when it is broadcast on network television, and stretched to nearly three hours running. (Do they really provide a fifty-minute advertising these days at CBS?) I saw the film many times, the network of television and unpublished, and it always seems too long. But, in spite of his (very) bad traits in the movie is a lot of fun to watch.

I do not like Kevin Costner. I think he is, what I call, but * * thanks actor. He said with such easy to mutter that it often causes sleep. If Costner wants to earn money after his film career has been exhausted (that happens, people), it must market Costner sleep Cassettes. Insert cassette tape / CD Kevin Costner reading your least favorite books, and you are guaranteed to fall asleep in less than five minutes - or your money back!

I found a great role that Kevin Costner plays for many years, and it was a role he played in “Untouchables”, opposite Robert De Niro Al Capone. Brian DePalma decided that the film, and it worked, because the role Costner dull match his acting talent. Watching his attempt * * act indeed very sad. His interpretation Remember Robin Hood? Some people loved it, but I think it was a disgrace to Robin Hood.

For what it is worth, Costner well here, mostly because it acts as a bodyguard dull, which is required to show absolutely no feelings what. His character basically walks around with one expression on his face throughout the film, including, but it so far with Whitney and night (if you know what I mean).

The film caused much controversy because a couple covered in a passionate kiss at the end of the film. If you do not mind meeting through bad acting, bad directing, bad scenario, all stretched to two and a half hours …, this film is for you. I, personally, sorta like. But I do not respect him.
