Boogeymen - The Killer Compilation
Just when you think there are no new ideas in Hollywood comes a DVD, as Boogeymen, which shook their hopes on the film. To give you promise “the greatest horror hits” Boogeymen is a collection of 17 scenes from horror films, supposedly the most famous bits movie “boogeymen” to do their dirty work.
Some of these boogeymen are the real deal - Leatherface (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), at the end of the film, Freddy Krueger (A Nightmare on Elm Street), in his finest hour, Jason (Friday 13), pursuing a towel-wrapped together - Ed, Pinhead ( Hellraiser), ripping apart some dude. These memorable baddies horror that haunts us during our youth. Then there are scenes of Wishmaster, Leprechaun, The Guardian, and even in dental - not only because it is not scary, it is stupid and offensive to other villains (such as Norman Bates in Psycho), in its lineup. In Puppetmaster? I ugly? I never even heard of the V is shocking.
Normally, it would be sacrilege to say, but Boogeymen essentially skipping the standard audio tracks and heading straight to the commentary track by Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger himself), which offers a personal look at each of the films (because it contains half of them think) , or put them in a historical context. If someone else can do funny mind Leprechaun’s Warwick Davis pogo-remaining one guy to death, how interesting can Englund.
