The boys had everything their own way for so long that even a hard-arsed, gut-churning, foul-mouthed street thriller is not going to change the world. How about soft-buttocked, nipple-company wet-lipped copette drama instead?

Kathryn Bigelow is the sorcerer’s apprentice. She pretends she is doing one thing and then doing another.
