Bloodsuckers
I never thought that I would live to describe the film as a cross between Blade and Serenity, but sheds - life is full of surprises. And in the case of Matthew Hastings “Vampire Wars: Battle of the Universe, it surprises extremely gory, enthusiastically simple, and (one more than once) outrageous, unintentionally amusing.
As in 2210, and the universe became colonized fairly well. Well, except for all the planets, which, curiously, inhabited by all sorts of insane vampires! Our heroic vampire killers crew consists of a square jawed muscle head, a brilliant yet inexperienced lieutenant, a big goofball who wears a cowboy hat, an angry Asian woman with the pink hair, and the split-it-baring vampire who sides with the rights of some strange reason.
The tragedy (in the form of super-stars bloodsuckers) strikes the crew while they were on a routine mission, which leads to the rescue of a helpless young lass who also happens to be the leader of the clandestine activist group, which aims to help mankind to destroy vampires and …
All you really need to know about war are the following Vampire things: The creatures are called “Voorhees”, “Leatherfaces and Nosferati.” In villain played by Michael Ironside. It premiered on scientific-Fi network. ‘Nuff said?
Hastings is prone to put “conspiracy” to hold so his paper-thin cartoon can wander through their ship while incompatible rock music fills the soundtrack, and we all started interesting if … we have to be any of this seriously? For the film that relates interstellar vampires, Battle of the universe unsure whether to spend the amount of time unnecessarily, live in poor playful dialogue scenes. (I do not even get me started on vampiress who can dole in extra-sensory dream-sex with a dead wife.)
But for the most part, Hastings seemed more than well aware that he was mounting mega-buffet, all you can eat “science fiction / horror components. He is a very broad and derivative and often moronic that you can laugh Vampire Wars - or laugh with him. And since I do not believe that this camp was cheesy ferment that way from the goal, I can recommend gently flick for fans of bad, bad, bad movie awesomely. This silent, it is cheap, and it is cobbled together with the sections about 43 other films, but it is also quite humorously inept - and sometimes it is really a bit of entertainment purposes.
