Beverly Hills Cop II
Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) again. So Detectives Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and Taggart (John Ashton). Another friend shot, even tour in Beverly Hills, and so is Beverly Hills II, a cookie-cutter continued, if ever was one. This is a good thing that still laughs flow, the shares equally hot and the soundtrack is vse’80 s.
After a hit-style shooting captain Bogomil (Ronny Cox), Detroit cop Foley makes the return trip to Beverly Hills in order to understand events. But what starts as an attempted murder investigation leads to a massive arms smuggling ring, and it looks like the only Foley can save the day - but only after he wreaks havoc in the scale of the latest Southern California. Metok along for the ride are Rosewood, and Taggart, two poor excuse for a modern Laurel and Hardy tandem.
Bad in the first Beverly Hills, Reinhold again proves that Fast Times at Ridgemont High was fluke. Every character I remember Reinhold had to play so quietly go-getter side that actually was the bomb with a short fuse ready to blow up. And when he had to blow up, he was still the same, only a little louder voice and extremely wrinkled forehead. For an additional layer, this time directed by Tony Scott (Spy Game, Top Gun) makes Rosewood National Rifle Association poster boy. This is inexplicable, and is not hinted at in the first film or the first two-thirds of a second. Only when it is convenient for many fire appear whether Sly Stallone-loving Rosewood appear. I think I would be happy that there is at least some expansion of the original film.
Most everything in Beverly Hills II, as Mr. I should vu. Cast the same to the account of the same, in the place, even the plot essentially the same. For the most part, all of these things work in the original Beverly Hills, and they continue to hold their own here. Murphy still energy and charisma to spare and performs more subdued actors who surround him.
An interesting addition to the cast is Brigitte Nielson as Amazon killers. I spent a lot of time trying to understand why there is such a love affair with deadly Hermaphroditic women in the mid-1980s. A view of the Kill very similar character with Grace Jones is trying to remove James Bond. It is hard, hard, not to say a lot, and the strange, bleached New Age haircut. I think I have no answer to that the trend was or how it appeared, but at least it gave me something to ponder. And coming from Continuing such as Beverly Hills II, where your mind can take 90 percent of vacation time, which is not so bad.
