The greatest asset presents Harold Ramis’ gangster comedy, Analyze this, is that it does not try too hard laughs. Rather than force-feeding the audience outdated, predictable jokes about mafia and chaos, Rami is content to evolve naturally let the humor in the situation postulated on the script and the performances of lead actors Robert De Niro and Billy Crystal. As a result, the film, rather than sequentially uproarious, often funny and sometimes amusing.
