Alien3
First, it was a creepy horror atmospheric Ridley Scott Alien. Then, about six years later, James Cameron took elements from the first and developed one of the best science fiction / action film of all time: Aliens. After two such superior effort has been high in anticipation of the third (and final?) Contribution of the trilogy, especially since the beginning of the advertising campaign, the proposed slogan: “The Earth, everyone can hear you scream.”
Alas, no movie Alien 3 fans were hoping for. Sigourney Weaver again, as Ellen Ripley, but it is in writing and direction (in the music video master David Fincher) more than that enables us down. Plot many inconsistencies, and killing in Ripley leave Newt surrogate daughter to the movie even begins, most of the emotional underpinning in the previous film has been rendered moot. And the nature of that great importance in determining the motivation heroine deserves something more attention than the off-screen murder. (Hicks is dead, but he was more disposable).
Alien 3 is, quite simply, a mess. Writers have no idea about how to tell a coherent, entertaining story. Except for a surprise or two, not too many faces here. The storyline often do not make sense, with the actions that have taken place in no explanation is given. The direction, editing and camerawork combined with the fragmented script to mislead and confuse the reader. Given Fincher background, should not come at any wonder that the film looks like a music video. Another aspect of lackluster Alien 3 is its weak points, while pales in comparison to James Horner incitement in the work of foreigners.
In the paper-thin characters, in large part because there are too many of them. If someone was more developed, their uniform unlikability may have been interesting, but as it is, this sign is off-putting. Several denizens Alien 3 in a prison planet of any person treated poorly in the script. There are some action scenes, but, because of some plot contrivances and the inability to feel for the characters, there is little loved ones or suspense. At least, the atmosphere is appropriately dark and gloomy.
This tag line of screaming on Earth - our home Nowhere is not found. The film takes place on the planet weaponless prison, where Ripley-landed in the accident, which is convenient foreigner with her (his impregnated Newt transit). Now the fight to kill the creature before it is crowding out of the criminal population. In many ways, this is just a higher-tech again in the first movie.
In science fiction or horror film, Alien 3, barely passable, but, compared to his two predecessors, it’s a pity the end of the trilogy. I enjoyed the first two films, but in their light that this one barely watchable and not particularly pleasant.
