Alien Autopsy
Ants and Dec are the televisual equivalent of a double dose of Marmite. You either love them or you hate them, and this latest celluloid business is unlikely to bring you in any case. Personally, I think that cheeky chappies from the north-east quite well telly madness, and despite evidence Byker Grove, and their less than glowing in the enterprise Likely Lads remakes, they can act a bit, too.
In his film debut outing they address the issue of alien autopsies. Back in the dim and distant blur filled days of 1995, some of the guys from London, Ray Santilli (December), and Gary Shoefield (ANT) withdrawn false this decade - an autopsy of an alien allegedly found in the Area 51 - and this certainly fits the arts licenses, their history.

Set a retelling of the fairy tale to a documentary director, we learned that Gary (Ant clear direction from the spirit of Del Trotter) is a bit of wideboy, always ready for the next get-rich-quick scheme, which is incredibly better mate, which is a nondescript counsel clerk. From visits to the state-Harry sees an alien autopsy film shot by soldiers in Roswell and cuts deals with the gangland Hungarian to get cash together to buy it. When the film denigrates suddenly, they are faced with hard choices - he or fake encounter homicidal Hungarian. Thus, the development hoax was born - one that went to the stupid significant part of Western (and some Eastern) world.
This film scores well on the quirky British films scale. She components eccentricity which we all love, and Ant and Dec shed their familiar canny guy act well enough to be believable in the role. Some of the video is fun - in particular, how the director uses Johnny Campbell reaction shots of those watching at the various fragments of the film, not the film itself - but he never breaks away from his small screen background (Spooks, Phoenix nights).
There is humor to be, for example, the scene in which they shoot the fake autopsy, only to see the “brains” skitter across the floor and ruin Gary sister, carpet, but for the most part, this sort wry smile, not laugh-a-loud guffawing. There, a competent cast with some comedic faves such as Omid Djalili, Jimmy Carr and Morwenna Banks. The rate is good for the most part, and the story interesting, and more … and yet he still can not justify being in a movie, rather than a feature length TV comedy drama.
