Summarizing Alexander in three words, I would choose the following: three hours miscalculation. While some aspects of Oliver Stone’s sword and sandals epic worthy of mention (and even praise), they are dwarfed by the examples of missteps and bad decisions. He was weak, indecisive, suffering from the uncertainty in itself, and obsessed. This is not the confidence that the people of this nature can capture 90% of the known world at the age of 32 years, and this is Alexander puzzle.
