88 Minutes
The fact inept from start to finish, 88 minutes casts Al Pacino as Jack Gramm - Forensic psychiatrist / college professor whose life is thrown into turmoil after the mysterious significant caller tells him that he only has 88 minutes left to live. There is certainly no shortage of suspects, as well as virtually all Jack in life seemed to want his death (including his assistants, some of his students, and even a casual secretary).
While it is safe to assume that the support of the players, such as Alicia Witt, Amy Brenneman, and Ben McKenzie were taken into production at the prospect of working together Pacino, one can not help but wonder what Pacino found himself calling for the draft - remains as baffling and Film thoroughly test all their disappointment egregiously working excessively long time. Gary Scott Thompson in a remarkably incompetent scenario is, of course, most obviously disturbing element here, though Jon Avnet director of the questionable choices (choppy slo-mo? Really?) I Pacino’s surprisingly unfocused performance equally deserve derision. Finally - where would-be assassins in inexplicable identity revealed - is nothing short of laughable, and 88 minutes in the end, defines itself as a low point in the case Pacino in a rigid body of work.
